I'm so use to knowing how a shot will turn out with slide film, and knowing exactly what I need to do to get certain looks. With digital, I'm still guessing, but at least it's just memory on a card, and not something I'm paying to get developed... which leads me to another point... seems to me you have to spend quite a bit of time adjusting digital images once they're taken. Rarely have I gotten exactly what I wanted, and have had to take it into PS to adjust levels and saturation.
I've been playing around with Adobe Lightroom lately, trying to figure out the program, and will be getting the CS3 suite here soon.
Well, enough rambling. I'll continue on my path to learning digital, but I'll never leave film.
